Huawei announced that the company has signed a four-year contract with UK Everything Everywhere, according to a May 9, 2011 report by the Bloomberg. As per the contract, Huawei is projected to upgrade Everything Everywhere' mobile network equipment. It is the first time that Huawei lands a mobile phone equipment deal in the UK mobile market.  Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Huawei said in April 2011 that the company plans to double its workforce in the United Kingdom to approximately 1,000 people over the next three years.
